For sale is an exceptional 1984 Rolex Oysterquartz Datejust Ref. 17013 in stainless steel and 18k yellow gold. Beautifully preserved in unpolished condition, this example stands out for its extremely crisp case and bracelet, sharply defined bezel and original caseback sticker. The warm custard patina of the lume adds further character to its classic champagne dial.

The Dial
The champagne sunburst dial catches the light beautifully, complementing the yellow gold bezel, hands and applied baton hour markers. The lume plots have developed a rich custard patina, with warm ageing also visible in the luminous sections of the hands, giving the watch an attractive vintage appearance.

The Case
The 36mm Oysterquartz case remains unpolished, preserving the bold angular geometry that makes this model so distinctive. Its broad brushed surfaces retain clearly defined grain, while the polished bevels and sharply cut edges create a striking contrast.
